Consumidor:

Do receptor da angiotensina II (AR) antagonistas pode causar hipotensão sintomática em pacientes com activado o sistema renina-angiotensina, como o de volume e/ou de sódio-esgotados os pacientes. A terapia com AR antagonistas deve ser administrado com cautela em tais pacientes e em pessoas predispostas à hipovolêmico ou hyponatremic estados (por exemplo, pacientes em terapia de diuréticos, especialmente se altas doses foram usados ou se instituiu, recentemente; aqueles que estão em dieta de restrição de sal; diálise renal de pacientes). Volume e/ou depleção de sódio deve ser corrigida antes de iniciar a terapêutica com AR antagonistas, e o paciente deve estar estável hemodinamicamente. Idealmente, os pacientes em risco para o excesso de hipotensão deve iniciar AR terapia com antagonistas sob estreita supervisão médica, de preferência, com uma dose mais baixa, e seguido de perto para as primeiras 2 semanas de tratamento e sempre que a dose de AR antagonista ou diurético for aumentada.
