Consumidor:Agentes simpatomiméticos pode induzir transitória midríase através da estimulação alfa-1 adrenérgicos. Em pacientes com anatomicamente ângulos estreitos ou glaucoma de ângulo estreito, dilatação pupilar pode provocar um ataque agudo. Nos pacientes com outras formas de glaucoma, midríase, ocasionalmente, pode aumentar a pressão intra-ocular. A terapia com agentes simpatomiméticos deve ser administrada com precaução em doentes com predisposição para glaucoma, especialmente glaucoma de ângulo estreito.
