Consumidor:O uso de carvedilol é contra-indicado em pacientes com classe IV NYHA insuficiência cardíaca descompensada. A estimulação simpática pode ser importante na manutenção hemodinâmica função nestes pacientes, portanto, beta-bloqueador, pode agravar a insuficiência cardíaca. Carvedilol pode ser usado para o tratamento de leve a moderada (NYHA classe II ou III) insuficiência cardíaca de avc isquêmico ou cardiomyopathic origem em pacientes recebendo digitálicos, diuréticos, um inibidor de ACE, e/ou nitratos.
