Dose-dependente diminui em séricos de hemoglobina e hematócrito foram observadas em pacientes tratados com fármacos anti-inflamatórios (Aines). A Anemia tem sido relatados ocasionalmente. O mecanismo pode envolver AINE induzida por retenção de líquidos ou perda de sangue gastrointestinal, ou um incompleto descrito efeito sobre a eritropoiese. A diminuição do número de níveis de concentração de hemoglobina tende a ser leve, com a média de doses, mas pode ser superior a 1 g/dL quando grandes doses são dadas, tais como os utilizados para tratamento da osteoartrite ou da artrite reumatóide. Embora estes efeitos são, geralmente, não é clinicamente importante no caso de indivíduos saudáveis, eles podem ser relevantes em pacientes com anemia pré-existente ou substancial perda de sangue. A terapia com Aines devem ser administrados com precaução em doentes com predisposição para a anemia. Acompanhamento clínico de hematopoiéticas função pode ser apropriada, particularmente durante a terapia crônica.
