Consumidor:

Sulfonamidas pode ser absorvido sistemicamente, quando aplicado à pele, olhos ou membranas mucosas. O uso de sulfonamidas está associado com grandes aumentos no risco de síndrome de Stevens-Johnson, necrólise epidérmica tóxica e outras sérias reações dermatológicas, embora esses fenômenos são raros como um todo. A hepatite, pneumonite, e nefrite intersticial também tem ocorrido em associação com sulfonamida de hipersensibilidade. A terapia tópica com sulfonamidas deve ser administrado com cautela em pacientes com graves alergias, asma brônquica ou AIDS, uma vez que estes pacientes podem estar em maior risco de potencialmente graves reações de hipersensibilidade. Os pacientes devem ser instruídos a relatar imediatamente os sinais e sintomas que podem preceder o início das manifestações cutâneas da síndrome de Stevens-Johnson, tais como febre alta, dor de cabeça severa, estomatite, conjuntivite, rinite, uretrite, e balanite. Sulfonamida o tratamento deve ser interrompido de uma só vez, se desenvolve uma erupção.
