Consumidor:Pacientes com doença grave do fígado ou cirrose são muito suscetíveis a tiazídico induzida hipocalémicos hypochloremic ao alkalosis. Sangue concentrações de amônia pode ser ainda mais aumentada em pacientes anteriormente com elevadas concentrações. A encefalopatia hepática e óbito ter ocorrido secundário para o eletrólito alterações que acompanham o uso de diuréticos. A terapia com diuréticos tiazídicos deve ser administrado com cautela em pacientes com insuficiência hepática ou doença hepática progressiva, e descontinuado imediatamente se os sinais de uma iminente hepática, coma aparecer (por exemplo, tremores, confusão e aumento da icterícia).
