Broncodilatadores adrenérgicos pode causar diminui em concentrações de potássio sérico, principalmente quando administrado por nebulização ou a administração intravenosa. Embora este efeito é geralmente transitórias e não necessitam de suplementação, clinicamente significativa, a hipocalemia pode ocorrer em alguns pacientes, com o potencial de induzir efeitos adversos cardiovasculares. A relevância destas observações orais ou aerossol oral/pó para inalação terapia é desconhecido. A terapia com broncodilatadores adrenérgicos devem ser administrados com precaução em doentes com predisposição para a hipocalemia.
